I have what might be considered an addiction to shawls. I love them - love planning them, love knitting them, love wearing them. I wanted to make one to sell at our events at the Craft Center, so I set about designing my own.
Sewanee is the product of that labor, and now I'm not sure I can bear to part with the original.
I love the look of this shawl, but I have a question/problem. On the border you state I should have 270 sts after repeating rows 69 & 70, but I have WAY more that that. Not sure what I'm missing, I've read it several times. Any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteIf you're counting after a right side row, you will have a lot more than the number you need, since the right side rows have increases and all the decreases are done on the wrong side. Does that help?
